I came to Pawling 55 years ago when I was 9 years old. It was 1961 and I remember getting my watch fixed at Harry Wright's and ice cream cones at Mary Palmer's - all in the Rogers building where I was to start my dental practice years later.

But before that, I attended grades 3 - 12 at Pawling Central School on Haight Street. There was baseball and basketball, the band, science fairs, the yearbook - and I graduated valedictorian, class of 1970.

I went to college in Syracuse and dental school out on Long Island, but Pawling was always home. When it came time to begin my dental career it had to be here. I spent ten years upstairs in the Roger's building before I found my way to the little house by the railroad tracks where you can still find us.
