Everyone is into "cosmetic dentistry." One of the staples of this trend is the porcelain veneer. These are micro thin shards of porcelain made by a dental laboratory which can be bonded to your front teeth in order to improve color and shape. They look wonderful, but are fragile, impossible to repair and very expensive.

I prefer to create veneers directly in the mouth with composite filling material. They are less fragile, can be easily repaired and are much more cost effective.
